#NaPoWriMo Day 3
Floetry by JulietKego:
Wild Heart; Gypsy Soul
You will find her heart
in fierce, gentle strokes
of her vivid and shy art..
She inhales a full breath
of wind, that gently stokes
the glistening flames of life…
Her fires exhaled unto a canvas
pinned tight to the lush linings
of all seared souls who’d sucked
her honeyed nectar and sowed seeds
(no better than drone bees)
in her soaked, muddy, opened earth.
Her hair in tendrils of wavy storms
unlocking secrets of seeking sailors
who buried forgotten treasures
beneath grounds of her pubic roots
and drunk the sap from her barks
Now struggling to uproot themselves
from the tipsy trance of her poetry
of painted, sculptured, siren songs.
Their hearts burnt with red-hot tongs,
carving out replicas of all tombstones
that will be laid upon their cold graves…
A wild heart; gypsy soul
dancing to the drumbeats of weeping sounds
from bitter-sweet, dried-saliva’d, lying tongues.

Oh snaps! I love the visual this gives me. Nicely done especially this part
“Her fires exhaled unto a canvas
pinned tight to the lush linings
of all seared souls who’d sucked
her honeyed nectar and sowed seeds
(no better than drone bees)
in her soaked, muddy, opened earth.”
Love it. #LoveandInk to you!
